House Prices in Ireland Surge Amidst Supply Constraints

The latest Daft.ie House Price Report indicates a 3.7% increase in housing prices across Ireland during the first quarter of 2025, bringing the national average to €346,048. This marks an 11.6% rise compared to the previous year and a 35% increase since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dublin and Leinster are leading this inflationary trend, with Dublin experiencing a 12.2% rise—the steepest in eight years. The persistent supply-demand imbalance continues to drive price growth.
